Lucky Widmore has been grooving his way through southern Ontario since 2012, when the artists first EP, Long Time Coming, put a unique fusion of reggae, surf, rock, funk, and pop on the local sound map. Inspired by Jason Mraz, Bedouin Soundclash, and Maroon 5, plus rock bands like Kings of Leon, The black Keys, and Imagine Dragons, the EP earned instant attention from local radio and press. The single ‘Where Would I Be’ became a fan favorite, and ‘Obsession’ continues to be an indie radio staple.
From the very beginning, Lucky Widmore has been about writing honest songs built on hooks, melodies, and danceable rhythms.
